With so many of my out-of-state couples choosing this Northern California destination for their nuptials, it's common for me to meet them for the first time on the day of the wedding. Even though I'm comfortable with this practice, I've begun attending the Friday rehearsal so I can say hello, get the lay of the land and just get to know everyone a little better. I won't be able to do this with every wedding because of my bookings, but when I can it is great! So I'd like to introduce you to Heather and Chris, a carefree, fun-loving couple from Oregon whom I already miss. They were so fun to work with and they had some of the nicest guests I've ever encountered. The wedding ceremony and reception took place on a stunning piece of family-owned property above Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, complete with old family charm and an authentic railroad car converted into a guest house. (How the heck did they get it up there, that's what I want to know!)
Here is Part One - The Rehearsal.
